DPE invests in VTU Engineering

• Leading provider of engineering services to the pharma and process industry

Munich/Graz, 28. February 2018. DPE Deutsche Private Equity Management III GmbH (DPE) acquires a majority stake in VTU Engineering („VTU“ or „Company“). VTU is one of the leading engineering companies, offering services ranging from planning and optimisation of process plants to providing full EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services to the pharma, biotechnology, chemical, metallurgy as well as oil and gas industries. The Company operates 20 branches in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Romania with more than 400 highly qualified employees.

VTU tripled revenues and doubled its workforce since 2010. Large-scale projects with pharma customers have been a major driver of growth.
