DPE funds acquire Fischer Surface Technologies

Munich/Katzenelnbogen/Liberec (CZ), 30 November 2016. Funds advised by DPE Deutsche Private Equity GmbH (DPE) have acquired Fischer Surface Technologies (www.fischer-galvanik.de) with its facilities in Katzenelnbogen and Seelbach, both Germany, and three sites in Liberec, Czech Republic. The previously family-owned enterprise ranks among the leading manufacturers of chrome-plated plastic components for the automotive industry. Every third car produced in Europe is equipped with high quality interior or exterior parts from Fischer Surface Technologies – such as dashboard, trims and brand emblem. Fischer Surface Technologies also supplies the sanitary and household industry. With more than 600 employees, the plastic injection moulding and electroplating specialist generates revenues of € 70 million.
